“Helping individuals become more gives me energy,” says Corey Olynik, founder of LifeQues Inc. and Chair of TEC 219 (The Executive Committee). “The most exciting thing about my work is the expectation that I will ask the tough questions, and look underneath the surface rooting out causes for personal and corporate logjams. Then, I get to watch the breakthroughs.” Lights On Corey sums up his role this way: “I feel best when I see someone’s lights go on.”
Olynik is a results-oriented leadership coach with a solid track record in business management, strategic planning, customer service, human resources, change management and communications. As a partner in LifeQues Inc., he advises and assists individuals and organizations in recognizing and reaching their potential.
“I’ve worked with achievers in a number of different venues: entrepreneurs, political figures, non-profit leaders. The common thread is that usually they spend too much of their energy dealing with symptoms and not enough working on causes. They are often trapped ‘in the business’ and unable to work ‘on the business.’ Helping people make that transition (that leap!) is my passion.” Tough Questions “The most exciting thing about my work is the expectation that I will ask the tough questions…”
Olynik’s experience has been gained in the private, public and non-profit sectors, working primarily in executive management positions with medium to large organizations. A former strategic advisor to senior political leaders at all three levels of government, he has a varied background of leadership and management. He has served as Executive Director of a successful province-wide organization and Regional Manager (Western Canada) for a major national business-to-business firm.
He sums up his role this way: “I feel best when I see someone’s lights go on.”

People skills or emotional intelligence accounts for 85% of failure in leadership. I am passionate about facilitating organizational skills and people skills coming together for greater synergy.”
